South Brunswick Celebrates Another Successful National Night Out - Building Community and Partnerships!
South Brunswick hosted another successful National Night Out Tuesday evening at Rowland Park, bringing residents, police officers, and community partners together for a night filled with fun, engagement, and unity.
Volunteers served 2,000 hot dogs, 1,000 veggie dogs, 1,500 bottles of water, 1,000 ice pops, 2,000 bags of popcorn and chips, and over 600 pizzas.
Chief Raymond Hayducka praised the event, saying, “National Night Out is a great example of what makes South Brunswick special. It gives us the chance to connect directly with residents, listen to their concerns, and work together to strengthen the trust and relationships.”
“This event continues to highlight the police-community partnership that is key to everything we do,” said Sergeant George Morgan, the event coordinator. “Every year, we raise the bar, and 2025 was no exception. The energy, the engagement, and the enthusiasm from the community were incredible. It’s a privilege to be part of something that brings us all together in such a positive way.”
Mayor Charlie Carley echoed that sentiment, noting, “National Night Out is a reflection of the spirit of South Brunswick. It’s a testament to the strong bonds between our police department, our residents, and our community partners. I’m proud to see such unity and energy in one place.”
The evening included performances from singers and dance groups, displays by law enforcement partners such as the FBI, IRS, and Civil Air Patrol, as well as dozens of local organizations offering community resources and information. The Community Unit portion of the event served as a hub for neighborhood engagement and public education.
