LOCATION: 3000 Block of North Valencia Avenue, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Robert Vaughn, Age 59, Resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Lowe’s (Highland, Redlands, Fontana)
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 2:30 P.M., detectives from the Highland Sheriff’s Station were made aware of multiple thefts that occurred at Lowe’s in the cities of Highland, Redlands, and Fontana. The suspect, later identified as Robert Vaughn, was captured on video surveillance at the incident locations loading merchandise in shopping carts and walking out of the store without paying.
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 7:02 A.M., detectives from the Highland Station assumed the investigation and executed a search warrant at a residence on the 3000 block of North Valencia Avenue, in San Bernardino. Detectives recovered approximately $10,000 worth of stolen merchandise. Vaughn was located at the residence where he was arrested. He was later booked in at the Central Detention Center on charges of PC 459- Burglary: 1st Degree.
