ONE INJURED IN NEWBERG TOWNSHIP CRASH 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that at 02:25 A.m. on 8/9/2025 his deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on M 60 near Lewis Lake Rd in Newberg Township. The driver of the vehicle, Robert Saxton III of Cassopolis, was eastbound on M 60 when he ran off the road. Saxton’s vehicle overturned. Newberg Township Fire and Ambulance provided medical treatment at the scene of the crash and transported Saxton to Beacon Hospital Dowagiac for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The role alcohol played in the crash is currently under investigation.
