Two- Vehicle Injury Crash
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on August 8th, 2025 at approximately 0845 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash east of the intersection of M-60 and Woodlake Rd., Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Nora Gill, (44-years-old of Chicago, IL) was eastbound on M-60. A vehicle driven by Logan King (19-years-old of Plainwell, MI) was westbound on M-60. and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, while turning south into the eastbound lane, crashing into Nora Gill.
Gill was transported by Newberg Township EMS to Three Rivers Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting agencies were Newberg Township Fire Department and Newberg Township EMS.
Drugs and Alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this incident.
The incident remains under investigation
