INCIDENT: 2025- 19885 Serious Motor Vehicle Crash
DATE & TIME OCCURRED: August 8, 2025 at 12:02 pm
LOCATION OCCURRED: Quakerbridge Road west bound just prior to Clarksville Road

VEHICLE # 1: 2016 Chevrolet Suburban SUV
DRIVER # 1: 58 year old male,
Resident of Lawrenceville (Mercer County), NJ
VEHICLE # 2: 2016 Chevrolet Malibu
DRIVER # 2: 33 year old female,
Resident of West Windsor (Mercer County), NJ
PASSENGERS: (02) Juveniles
VEHICLE # 3: 2018 Infinity Q50
DRIVER # 3: 56 year old male

DETAILS:
On Friday, August 8, 2025 at 12:02 pm, the WWPD Communications Center detailed the West Windsor Division of Fire & Emergency Services, the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit to a Serious Motor Vehicle Accident involving four (04) vehicles on Quakerbridge Rd. west bound just prior to Clarksville Rd.
The initial investigation revealed the following: Vehicle #1 was traveling west on Quakerbridge Road in the right lane of travel where it rear-ended vehicle #2. This collision caused vehicle #2 to strike the rear of vehicle #3 which was also traveling north in the right lane, directly in front of Vehicle #2. That impact contact caused Vehicle #3 to make contact with the rear of Vehicle #4, which was also traveling in the right lane. After making contact with Vehicle # 4, Vehicle # 3 left the roadway.
Driver #2, Driver #3, and Driver #4 were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center at Fuld for non-life threatening injuires by multiple mutual aid EMS units. A (04) year old juvenile from Vehicle #2 was transported and treated for a non-life threatening head injury.
It is believed that Driver #1 suffered a medical episode that ultimately led to the initial collision. He was also transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center at Fuld where he is listed in critical but stable condition. The roadway was closed in the area of the collision for approximately three and a half hours.

DRIVER # 1: 87 year old female,

VEHICLE # 2: 2024 Porsche Cayenne SUV
DRIVER # 2: 62 year old male,
Resident of Monmouth Beach (Monmouth County), NJ
PASSENGER: (26) year old male

DETAILS:
On Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2:17 pm, the WWPD Communications Center detailed the West Windsor Division of Fire & Emergency Services, the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit to a Serious Motor Vehicle Accident on Old Trenton Rd. (CR-535) at the intersection of Dorchester Drive. Initial reports indicated that one or both vehicles were on fire. Good samaritans assisted in removing Driver # 1 from her burning vehicle prior to patrol's arrival on scene. The occupants of Vehicle # 2 were also out of their vehicle upon patrol's arrival. East Windsor Fire Department # 42 responded to assist with extinguishing the fire.
Initial investigation revealed that both vehicles were traveling north on Old Trenton Road near Dorchester Drive. For an unknown reason, the front of Vehicle # 1 made contact with the rear of Vehicle # 2 resulting in collision and as a result, Vehicle # 1 caught fire which spread to Vehicle # 2.
Driver # 1 sustained significant internal injuries and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center at Fuld where she is listed as critical/unstable and is still undergoing treatment at the time of this release. Driver # 2 sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene. The roadway was closed in the area of the collision for approximately two and a half hours.
