PETALUMA POLICE DEPARTMENT REMINDS COMMUNITY OF BACK-TO-SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY TIPS
Today, students across Petaluma will return to school. The Petaluma Police Department reminds drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians to use extra caution as traffic increases near schools. “With more students walking, biking, and being dropped off or picked up, it’s important for everyone to slow down, stay alert, and follow traffic laws,” said Petaluma Police Department Traffic Sergeant Giomi.
Transportation Safety Tips:
Bike Safety
- Wear a fitted helmet and bright clothing.
