Brush fire under control - Dart and Cumberland. 
A small brush fire broke out at about 12:20 pm Tuesday, August 12, in the area of Dart Dr. and Cumberland Rd. The Kern County Fire Department quickly got it under control. Bear Valley Police also responded to the call, but KCFD determined law enforcement resources were not needed.
We thank the KCFD for their quick response and for keeping our community safe!
