Wilmington Police request public assistance in connection with hit-and-run collision involving pedestrian: 
Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public in connection with a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian.
On August 5 just before 11 p.m., police were dispatched to the 3300 block of North Market Street in reference to a collision that had occurred. Investigators learned that a motorcycle had struck a pedestrian and subsequently fled from the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
