Officers were in the listed area and attempted an enforcement stop on a vehicle. The driver failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended when the driver abandoned the car, fled on foot, and was eventually taken into custody by officers. ARRESTED: Leticia Fernandez, 25, for evading and traffic charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2140) 2500 Block of Gillimer Drive, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 54, and the female victim, 53, were inside a residence in the area when the suspect tried to burn them with a flammable substance. One victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. ARRESTED: Raymond Homem, 29, for assault with a deadly weapon charges.
3. Resisting Arrest (0154) San Joaquin Street and Walnut Street, Civic District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. The suspect refused to obey commands and became combative. Force was used, and the suspect was taken into custody. Officers located narcotics in the suspect's possession. The suspect was uninjured. ARRESTED: Kunta Taylor, 48, for resisting arrest and narcotics charges.
4. Weapon Arrest (0335) 700 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
Officers conducted a check out of a vehicle in the listed area. The driver was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and body armor. ARRESTED: Ismael Sublaban, 33, for weapon charges.
