Tonight's Movies Under the Stars screening of Downton Abbey postponed until Aug. 20
Tonight's free Movies Under the Stars screening of Downton Abbey has been postponed to Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 9 p.m., due to forecasted scattered thunderstorms. Downton Abbey: A New Era is rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. Both films will be shown at Pier A.
The Movies Under the Stars showing of Selena remains scheduled for this Friday, Aug. 15, but is moving from Pier A to ResilienCity Park, 1201 Madison St. The Colavita Pizza Truck will be at Selena, serving free pies from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Adult indoor pickleball registration opens Aug. 26
The City's Recreation Division will open registration for fall adult indoor pickleball on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m.
Fall adult indoor pickleball will begin on Sept. 8, at the Multi-Service Center gym, 124 Grand St. Residents may sign up for one session each. Space is limited and on a first come/first served basis. Information about instructional beginner pickleball sessions will be announced in the fall.
