SUSPECT(S): Eduardo Rodriguez, 25-year-old resident of Moreno Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidental
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at about 3:44 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department's Morongo Basin Station were dispatched to the 6000 block of Cahuilla Avenue in Twentynine Palms, regarding possible lewd acts with a child.
During the investigation, it was discovered a family friend, later identified as Eduardo Rodriguez, was staying with the 14-year-old victim’s family and engaged in sexual intercourse and oral copulation with the victim.
The Morongo Basin Station Detective Bureau assumed the investigation and later learned of Rodriguez’s whereabouts.
On August 6, 2025, investigators arrested Rodriguez as he left his residence in Moreno Valley. Rodriguez was booked into Central Detention Center and is being held on $ 50,000 bail.
