The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, September 5, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. Fridays After Five will be taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and details can be found at newlenox.net/fridays. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
