INCIDENT: PC 236 - False Imprisonment
LOCATION: 100 Block of West Palo Verde Lane, Havasu Lake, CA
SUSPECT(S): John Romero, 33-years-old, Resident of Havasu Lake, CA
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 1:54 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a possible domestic disturbance.
When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered suspect John Romero had assaulted the victim during an argument at their home and refused to let the victim leave.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
John Romero was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking for false imprisonment. Romero remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
