Once crews begin installing guardrails near 144 Route 202 (Harrigan’s), Route 202 will be fully closed between Taylortown Road and River Road.
During this time, access to your business will only be available from the Boonton side of Route 202. Patrons should inform traffic officers stationed at either Vreeland Road (Boonton) or Taylortown Road (Montville) that they need entry to a business located within the closure zone.

From 7:00-approximately 12:00PM, Route 202 will remain open but limited to one-way traffic due to ongoing guardrail installation. This work will require lane closures and shifting traffic patterns throughout the day.
7:00 AM-approximately 12:00PM Closure Details:
- Affected area: Taylortown Road to River Road
- Directional restriction: No access to Boonton from Montville via Route 202
- Detour route: Vehicles will be redirected onto River Road, then Vreeland Avenue
