🚴♂️ NJ Safe Passing Law – Know the Rules, Save a Life 🚗
With more cyclists, pedestrians, and scooter riders sharing our roads — and with school starting September 4th — the NJ Safe Passing Law is here to keep everyone safe.
The law requires drivers to:
✅ Slow down when approaching cyclists, pedestrians, or other vulnerable road users
✅ Change lanes if possible
✅ Leave at least 4 feet of space when passing
✅ If you can’t change lanes, slow to 25 mph and pass carefully
Every life matters. Let’s all do our part to make Roselle’s streets safe for everyone.
