Shoplifting Leads to Arrest of Two Females

LOCATION: Super Target, 20288 State Highway 18, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Krystal Snowten, 25-year-old female of Highland
Shalyce Pace, 24-year-old female of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On August 12, 2025, at approximately 7:17 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station were notified of a theft that had just occurred at Super Target. It was reported that the suspects, later identified as Krystal Snowten and Shalyce Pace, exited the location with merchandise not yet purchased. Employees of the location succeeded in recovering a portion of the merchandise; however, Snowten and Pace fled with additional items. Witnesses provided a description of the vehicle the suspects fled in.
When responding to the call, deputies located the suspect vehicle near the intersection of State Highway 18 and Flathead Road and a traffic stop was initiated. Snowten and Pace were contacted inside the vehicle and detained without incident. $260 worth of stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to Super Target.
Snowten and Pace were booked at High Desert Detention Center. Snowten was booked for shoplifting and was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date. Pace was also booked for shoplifting but remains in custody for multiple warrants.
