INCIDENT: PC 288.5 - Continuous Sexual Abuse of Child
LOCATION: Crestview Drive in the Town of Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Raul Custodio, 44-year-old Male Resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at about 12:30 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Morongo Basin Station were dispatched to Crestview Drive in the town of Yucca Valley, for reported lewd acts with a child. During the investigation, it was discovered that Raul Custodio had committed continuous sexual abuse of a child.
The Morongo Basin Sheriff's Detective Bureau assumed the investigation. Investigators collected evidence and obtained statements, leading to the arrest of Custodio. Custodio was arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin jail and is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Raul Custodio’s photograph.
