LOCATION: 7000 block of Langdon Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Jacob Daniel Robinson, 30-year-old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On May 21, 2025, the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)-Child Exploitation Investigations Group conducted an investigation and determined Jacob Daniel Robinson used an online chat platform to contact a 12-year-old female resident of Nevada. HSI agents informed the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail, who assumed the investigation.
CAC investigators discovered Robinson initiated a conversation with the 12-year-old female to illicit child sexual abuse material.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the conclusion of the investigation, the Specialized Enforcement Division (SED) arrested Robinson. Robinson was booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto and remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Robinson’s photograph as well as a photograph he used to communicate with the minor.
