The McHenry Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly male.
Name: Leonard Skruch
Age: 81 Years of Age
Description: 5’5”, 150lbs, shaggy gray hair, long gray beard, last seen wearing jeans with the bottoms cuffed, a light colored button-down shirt, carrying a hard suitcase with a strap filled with his personal belongings.
Last Seen: August 13, 2025 walking away from his residence at Alden Terrace (803 Royal Dr) of his own free will.
Mr. Skruch was last seen in the area of Crystal Lake Rd/Royal Dr and is traveling on foot with no known mode of transportation. His family has not heard nor seen him and he has not returned to his residence. There is no foul play suspected. The McHenry Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Mr. Skruch to check on his well-being.
The attached picture is a pretty accurate representation of Mr. Skruch, however, he currently has longer hair and a longer beard.
