An officer observed a subject in the roadway who was almost struck by a vehicle. Upon the officer's contact, he refused to drop a metal object. As officers detained the subject, he resisted. Force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Marquis Hannon, 26, for resisting arrest.
2. Carjacking (0943) 400 Block of South El Dorado Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 59, was working on his friend's vehicle when the suspect asked him to jumpstart his vehicle. As the victim was assisting the suspect, the suspect took the car keys from the victim, pushed him, and fled in the vehicle. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
