* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Pima county, from near the Tucson International Airport and Rita Ranch south through Sahuarita and into Green Valley.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 935 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tucson, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Corona De Tucson, East Sahuarita, San Xavier Community, Summit, Tucson International Airport and Rita Ranch. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
