Police Seek Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help identifying the male suspect pictured below, who shoplifted 15 iPhone chargers from a T-Mobile store on July 25, 2025.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video entering T-Mobile in the 700 block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard. He walked around the store, took the chargers, and placed them in a bag before leaving without paying.
The suspect wore a black hat, a black hoodie, a white tank top, black pants, and white sneakers.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
