An adult male was arrested for possession of stolen property, mail theft, possession of burglary tools, and outstanding warrants.
 
San Mateo, CA – On August 14, 2025, at 3:23 a.m., the San Mateo Police Department received a report of mail theft in progress on the 2100 block of Vista Del Mar. Officers quickly responded, obtaining multiple witness statements and surveillance footage confirming that mail theft had just occurred. The suspect was last seen traveling eastbound on a bicycle toward Mariners Island Blvd.
 
Officers located and detained Christopher Henry in the area of Wharfside Road and Mariners Island Blvd shortly afterward. Henry matched the description from the surveillance footage and was found to be in possession of a stolen e-bike reported out of San Bruno.
 
Probable cause was ultimately established to arrest Henry for possession of stolen property and mail theft. During a search incident to Henry’s arrest, burglary tools were found inside his duffle bag. Henry was additionally arrested for possession of burglary tools and for two outstanding local warrants. Henry was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, and the stolen e-bike was returned to the San Bruno Police Department.
