Flood Advisory until 08:45PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Illinois, including the following county, southern Vermilion.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 632 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen between Ogden and Muncie. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Baum Branch, Little Vermilion River, Yankee Branch, Hawbuck Creek, Butler Branch, Fayette Drain, Jordan Creek, Vermilion River, Stony Creek, Swank Creek, Freedwell Branch, Glenburn Creek, Salt Fork, Middle Fork Vermilion River, Feather Creek, Grape Creek and Conkey Branch. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Danville, Georgetown, Westville, Tilton, Catlin, Oakwood, Fairmount, Fithian, Belgium, Indianola, Jamaica and Muncie.
