Flood Warning until 12:00PM

* WHAT...Continued flooding caused by excessive rainfall overnight is expected. This Flood Warning is replacing the Flash Flood Warning that was in effect.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Kane, Kendall and Will.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Continued flooding is likely in poor drainage and urban areas, including flooded underpasses, roads, and streets. High water likely may recede slowly from flooded areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 610 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain producing thunderstorms moving back into the warned area. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aurora, Joliet, far southwest Naperville, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Plainfield, Oswego, Lockport, Yorkville, Crest Hill, Montgomery, Shorewood, Sugar Grove, Boulder Hill, Fairmont, Rockdale, Crystal Lawns and Bristol. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
