AVOID Macy Road for the rest of this week due to road closure for construction. 
The Harrison Police Department recommends that you avoid Macy Road area for the rest of this week due to construction. Macy Road will be shut down from South Road to Halstead Avenue fron 7:30 am to 5pm, 8/19 - 8/22. Traffic on South Road, Sunnyside Avenue, and Heineman Place will still be open, and access to the train station parking lot on Sunnyside Ave will also be available. The usual court detour will be suspended this week due to this construction so traffic will be open to both directions in that area.
Using alternate routes is strongly advised.
