INCIDENT: P.C. 207(A)- Kidnapping, P.C. 273.5(A)- Corporal Injury to a Spouse or Cohabitant
LOCATION: 13000 block of Limestone Circle, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Jose Vasquez, 36-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 17, 2025, at approximately 11:17 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to the above location with reference to a report of an unknown disturbance.
Through investigation, deputies learned a female victim was assaulted by her boyfriend, Jose Vasquez. Vasquez took an unknown item and entered the driver side of a vehicle on the property. The victim attempted to retrieve the item through the passenger side, but Vasquez pulled her inside the vehicle and drove away against her will. Deputies and Sheriff’s Aviation conducted a search for the vehicle but were unable to locate it.
Deputies established contact with Vasquez and he and the victim returned to the incident location. Deputies detained Vasquez without further incident. The victim sustained several injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Jose Vasquez was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, P.C. 207(A)- Kidnapping, and P.C. 273.5(A)- Corporal Injury to a Spouse or Cohabitant.
