* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will.
* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 536 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms with rainfall rates exceeding 2 inches per hour. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Elgin, Cicero, Hammond, Evanston, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Skokie, Des Plaines, Orland Park, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard and Bartlett. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
