Overnight on Wednesday, August 20th, The Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission will be conducting mosquito control spraying in Highland Park to help reduce nuisance mosquitoes and prevent the spread of mosquito-borne illnesses.

- Location: South of NJ-27/Woodbridge Avenue; North Side between Railroad Tracks and Piscataway

The spraying will be conducted from trucks using ultra-low volume (ULV) applications of products approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and recommended by Rutgers University. These treatments are applied in very small amounts and pose little to no risk to people, pets, or the environment when used as directed.
Precautions You Can Take:
- Stay indoors during spraying when possible.
- Bring pets, food/water dishes, toys, and outdoor items inside.
- Keep windows closed and set air conditioners to recirculate air.
- Avoid contact with wet surfaces until dry (about one hour).
