Wax Road Update

ATTENTION: WAX ROAD UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be alternating lane closures along LA 3034 (Wax Rd) starting 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from the intersection of Sullivan Rd/Wax Rd (LA 3034) to the intersection of Wax Rd (LA 3034)/LA 37, beginning Saturday, August 16th thru Friday, September 19th, 2025. Traffic will be maintained in both directions using flagging operations.
These closures are necessary for pavement reconstruction.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
