The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, September 13, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. Warriors Walk will be taking place beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the Patriot Party following from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven. Old Plank Trail Community Bank and the New Lenox Library will be accessible via Independence Blvd.
