Advisory Notice - Potential Disruption from Large Explosions. The Bethlehem Police Bomb Squad will be conducting explosives training at their Steel City training facility on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The training facility is located across the Lehigh River in Lower Saucon Township. Residents and businesses south of Freemansburg Avenue in Bethlehem Township may be subject to the effects of explosives detonations from late morning to late afternoon Wednesday 8/20.
Effected communities: St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus, The Vineyards, Carter Republic, River View Estates and Old Orchard & Kingsview developments.
