INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon / Hate Crime
LOCATION: 17000 – 18000 block of Valley Boulevard in the City of Bloomington
VICTIM: Multiple
SUSPECT: Michael Razo, a 22-year-old Resident of Highland
Humberto Silva, a 24-year-old Resident of Colton
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Blue, 4-Door, 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Truck
SUMMARY: Michael Razo and Humberto Silva have actively engaged in targeting multiple victims throughout the cities of Bloomington and Fontana over the past few months. Razo and Silva approached the victims in Razo’s blue Chevrolet Silverado truck and fired multiple paintballs at the victims while yelling racial slurs. The racial slurs screamed by the suspects correlated with the race of the victims. The victims received several injuries to their faces and bodies.
Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Fontana station collaborated closely with detectives from the Fontana Police Department and were able to identify Razo and Silva. Several search warrants were authored and served on the suspect’s residences. Evidence was located at both locations linking the suspects to the reported crimes. Razo and Silva were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon and a hate crime enhancement.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are releasing photographs of the suspects and the suspect vehicle. We ask any additional victims to please come forward and file a report.
