1. Weapons Arrest (2033) 3000 block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a subject armed with a firearm in a car. Officers located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, and detained the driver. Officers searched the car and found a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Elmer Villanueva, 37, for weapons charges.
2. Stolen Auto Arrest (2307) 1400 Block of East Church Street, Park District
Officers attempted to conduct an enforcement stop on an occupied stolen vehicle. The driver and passenger fled on foot. While fleeing, the driver attempted to carjack a passing vehicle. Officers searched the area and arrested the driver without further incident. ARRESTED: Byron Peterson, 18, for possession of a stolen
vehicle, attempted carjacking, and resisting arrest charges. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0000) 300 Block of East Eight Mile Road, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 21, was driving in the area when the known suspect intentionally rammed his vehicle. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Hispanic female adult.
