Boil Water Advisory Lifted – Cliffwood & Cliffwood Beach
Dear Resident,
This is Aberdeen Township with important news for Cliffwood and Cliffwood Beach.
The Boil Water Advisory issued on August 18th has been lifted. Repairs are complete, and water testing confirms that your water is safe. You no longer need to boil your water before use.
The Old Bridge Utility lifted their advisory earlier. However, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) considers our system separate, even though we receive water from Old Bridge. For that reason, Aberdeen Township was required to complete its own water quality testing before lifting the advisory.
For best results, we recommend:
-
Running your faucets for several minutes to flush your lines
-
Emptying and cleaning automatic ice makers and water filters as needed
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this advisory.
