Traffic Advisory: Road Closure on Diamond Bridge Avenue

The Hawthorne Police Department Traffic Bureau advises that Diamond Bridge Avenue will be closed in front of St. Anthony’s School and Church on Friday, August 22, 2025. The closure is necessary to facilitate the replacement of the water main servicing St. Anthony’s campus.

Detour Information:

• Eastbound traffic on Diamond Bridge Avenue will be detoured onto Forest Avenue.

• Westbound traffic on Diamond Bridge Avenue will be detoured at Hawthorne Avenue.

Officers will be stationed in the area to assist motorists and ensure safe traffic flow. We kindly ask drivers to follow posted detours, obey officer directions, and avoid the area if possible to help expedite this important infrastructure improvement.
