* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Georgia, including the following counties, in central Georgia, Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Crisp, Dooly, Houston, Jones, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Twiggs, Wilcox and Wilkinson. In east central Georgia, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington and Wilkes.

* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall from slow moving thunderstorms will be possible today and tomorrow. Widespread totals of 1-3" are expected, but some locations where storms stall may receive in excess of 5" of rainfall, much of it falling within a short time period.
