* Until 700 PM EDT.
* At 406 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Bells Crossroads to Canadys. This activity will drift south into Walterboro. As much as 2 to 3 inches of rain has fallen over this area today. An additional 2 to 4 inches could fall through 7 PM, resulting in flash flooding. People living and working along Ireland Creek in Walterboro should carefully monitor water levels this afternoon into tonight. Be ready to take action should levels in creek reach flood stage. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Walterboro, Colleton, Cottageville, Smoaks, Lodge, Williams, Ruffin, Canadys, Round O and Padgetts.
