Bus Pull 2025
Altadena and Temple Sheriff’s Stations are proud to announce, "Bus Pull 2025," a high-energy, family-friendly event aimed at uniting the community and raising critical funds for local charities that directly serve Altadena residents impacted by the recent Eaton Fire.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First City Credit Union, 500 W. Woodbury Rd, Altadena, CA 91001, and will feature teams of community members, first responders, and local organizations battling it out in an exciting bus pulling competition to see who has the muscle and the heart to pull together for a great cause.
This year’s Bus Pull comes at a time of deep need and renewed hope. In the wake of the tragic Eaton Fire, our community has shown unmatched strength, compassion, and resilience. Bus Pull 2025 stands as a symbol of that spirit, reminding us that together, we pull through anything. We are honored to announce the attendance of Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, who will be joining us in support of this powerful effort to uplift and restore our Altadena community. Wendy Burch from KTLA 5 will be the guest emcee. A portion of the proceeds raised during the event will go to vetted charities and relief organizations that are working directly with Altadena families in need, providing shelter, food, medical support, and rebuilding assistance in the aftermath of the fire.
Bus Pull 2025 is more than just a competition,” said Ethan Marquez, Captain of Altadena Sheriff’s Station. “It’s a declaration that Altadena stands strong. We invite everyone to come out, cheer, donate, and show what it means to be part of this incredible community.”
