ONE INJURED IN SCOOTER ACCIDENT 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 08/22/2025 at approximately 1217 hours, deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a motor scooter crash on Tharp Lake Rd and State Line Rd., Mason Township, Cass County Michigan.
Deputies found a 19-year-old male laying in the roadway near the scooter with injuries to his head. He went by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital.
Assisting agencies on scene were Porter Fire Department and SEPSA EMS.
This incident is still under investigation.
