* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following county, Jasper.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 255 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ridgeland, Mitchellville and Ricetown.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JASPER, SC
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
