August 22, 2025:

• Officer Richardson was dispatched to the 400 block of East Prospect Street for an assault. The 56-year-old male suspect fled the area, and has not been located.
• Officer Marcum responded to the hospital for a warrant arrest. A 38-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Goings visited with students at Northeast Elementary School.
• Officers were dispatched to West Louis Glick Highway and North Blackstone Street for a weapons complaint. A subject fled on foot from officers, but the firearm he was carrying was recovered. The subject has been identified. 
• Officer Justice conducted a traffic stop near Page Avenue and Ann Street. The 21-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at East Washington Avenue and Hupp Avenue. The 31-year-old male driver was arrested for conditional bond violation, and driving under the influence of narcotics – 2^nd offense.
• Officers conducted multiple liquor inspections downtown.

• Officer Hogan responded to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a disorderly subject. Charges will be sought on a 35-year-old male for possessing narcotics.
• Officer Goings was dispatched to the 1400 block of Lansing Avenue for a found firearm. The firearm had been reported stolen with JPD in August of 2024.
• Officer Hogan responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 48-year-old female was arrested for trespassing.
• Officers attended the Oasis of Love Church event.
• Officers attended the Civil War Muster.
• Officer Mills was dispatched to the 200 block of West Wilkins Street for a disorderly subject. A 57-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of North Jackson Street. An 80-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault.

• Officer Marcum made contact with a subject in the 100 block of West Michigan Avenue. The 45-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding felony warrants.
• Officer Elston responded to the 100 block of West Mansion Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 200 block of North East Avenue for an assault report.
• Officer Goings responded to the 1400 block of North Wisner Street for a subject shoplifting. A 43-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding felony warrants.
• Officer Frazier made contact with a subject in the 1500 block of East Michigan Avenue. A 54-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to West Wilkins Street and First Street for shots fired. One casing was located in the area. A 30-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
• Officer Farnsworth responded to the 500 block of Wildwood Avenue for a threats report.
