Rutherford County Emergency Management will be conducting countywide maintenance on the Mass Notification Siren System from Monday, August 25th through Friday, August 29th, 2025. During this time, residents may hear audible sirens and voice announcements as part of testing and system checks. If during testing there is a true emergency, alerts will be sent out via our Alert Rutherford – Everbridge notification system and through our social media pages. Residents are also encouraged to sign up for our free local alerts service, Alert Rutherford, to receive important emergency notifications directly to your phone or email. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure that our emergency notification systems remain reliable and ready to serve our community.
