BOROUGH OF FAIR LAWN - BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT. This is an update as of AUGUST 25, 2025 AT 4:30 P.M.
 
The Borough of Fair Lawn remains in a Boil Water Advisory. The water pressure may continue to fluctuate during the next few days. In order to conserve water, please DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEM, until further notice.
 
The Borough’s Senior Center will be open tomorrow, August 26^th.  The status of Memorial Pool will be announced tomorrow during the morning update message.
 
Passaic Valley Water Commission has isolated the break and they are now able to bring water to Fair Lawn.  The Borough will be reintroducing their water into our system slowly, in order to not cause harm to our water lines and pumps.  As soon as the Borough has consistent water pressure, samples will be taken.  Once the samples are analyzed and are deemed safe, the boil water advisory will be lifted. 
 
The Borough will continue to update you. You will also receive official notification from the Borough that the boil water advisory has been lifted and no longer in effect.
