| During the week of August 18th, Camarillo Patrol deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of West Highland Drive, Camarillo, following a reported burglary. Deputies confirmed that multiple items, including firearms, jewelry, and family heirlooms, had been stolen. Detectives from the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) conducted a thorough investigation and identified a person of interest. On the evening of August 23, 2025, patrol deputies responded to another call for service at the same residence. As they arrived, they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect, Isaac Tadeo, who was seen driving away from the area. Tadeo led deputies on a high-speed chase through Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura before abandoning his vehicle and fleeing on foot. In the early morning hours of August 24, 2025, detectives from the SEU and Camarillo Detective Bureau executed a signed search warrant at Tadeo’s residence in the 200 block of Rodgers Street, Ventura. Tadeo, a convicted felon who also had an outstanding unrelated warrant, was taken into custody without incident. During the search of Tadeo’s residence and property, detectives recovered several firearms and other items stolen in the burglary. Tadeo was booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility on the following charges: VC 2800.2 (a) – [Evading An Officer], VC 2800.4 – [Eluding a Pursuing Peace Officer], PC 29800(a) – [Possession of a Firearm by a felon], PC 30305(a) – [Possession of Ammunition by a felon], and PC 459 [Residential Burglary]. His bail is set at $55,000.
