AVOID Union Ave for the next two days due to final sidewalk construction road closures 
Below is the final update related to the Union Avenue Sidewalk Construction.
The Union Avenue sidewalk construction street closures is in its final stages between West Street and Mamaroneck Avenue, in the immediate area of the Harrison High School.
**Tuesday & Wednesday, 8/26/25 & 8/27/25 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Union Ave. will be closed between West St. and the Harrison High School entrance. Union Ave. residents in the construction zone and High School traffic will be able to access that area by Mamaroneck Ave.
We are aware that on Wednesday, 8/27/25, HHS is hosting an orientation so we encourage carpooling and enter from the Mamaroneck Avenue side, however, the sidewalks will be usable so dropoff on West Street is possible.
Follow posted detours and/or avoid the area. It's strongly recommended to take alternate routes.
