Road work on Fort Lee Road between Broad Avenue and the Fort Lee border will begin tomorrow (Wednesday, August 27th). The work will take place weekdays from 7am until 4pm for approximately 2 weeks. This project will consist of curb replacements and other preparation work for the County's milling and paving of Fort Lee Road. The paving project will be scheduled upon completion of this initial work and additional information will be sent out. 

Expect delays during this road work and take an alternate route if possible. There are no planned road closures during the work however this is subject to change depending on traffic conditions. Traffic will be alternated in the immediate area of the work zone. In order to complete the work near the Anna C Scott School before the 1st day of school, the road work will start on Fort Lee Road near Broad Avenue and then move east towards Fort Lee.
