LOCATION: 10000 block of White Road, Phelan
SUSPECT(S): Adolfo Torres, 34 years of age, resident of Phelan
SUMMARY: On Monday, August 25, 2025, at 12:38 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 10000 block of White Road in Phelan. The caller reported the suspect, later identified as Adolfo Torres, had sent her a photo of him holding a firearm, claiming he was on his way to her residence. Shortly after, a second reporting party called in to report Torres broke into his house and stole two firearms.
Deputies immediately responded to the area. With the assistance of 40K (Sheriff’s Aviation Division), Torres was located fleeing the scene on a quad. 40K observed Torres stop at a location near Del Rosa Road, where he was seen placing both firearms underneath a trailer before riding away.
Deputies were able to catch up with Torres, he was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $410,000.00 bail.
