The Cranford Department of Public Works (DPW), in coordination with the Shade Tree Commission, will be removing dying trees located at the corner of Central Avenue and Riverside Drive.

A crane will be required for the removal of these trees, resulting in the closure of Central Avenue from Springfield Avenue to Riverside Drive, and Riverside Drive northbound between Orange Avenue and Central Avenue. 

This necessary work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain public safety and preserve the health of our community’s tree canopy. Please follow posted signs and barricades.
