South Los Angeles Station personnel are currently investigating an incident that occurred on the 8800 block of Vermont Avenue in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.

For the safety of the public and to allow deputies to continue their investigation, Vermont Avenue will remain closed between Manchester Avenue and 89th Street until further notice.

We ask the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
